Newbury & Thatcham Hockey Club home games are played mainly at the Henwick Worthy Astroturf Pitch (Thatcham) with occasional fixtures at Trinity School (Newbury) and Denison Barracks (Hermitage). Henwick Worthy Sports Ground is located on the A4 on the border between Thatcham and Newbury. For directions to our annual Hockey Festival click here.

From M4 J13:
Journey time to ground approximately 20 minutes from Jn13 M4
Follow A34 South towards Newbury
Very soon after M4/A34 Junction take left slip road signposted A339 Newbury
Straight over the 1st roundabout outside Vodafone HQ
At next junction (offset roundabout) take 2nd exit, following signs onto A4 towards Reading & Thatcham
Continue along A4, passing a BP garage, B&Q & the Swan Pub (straight over roundabouts along the A4)
At the traffic light cross roads, continue straight over passing West Berkshire NHS Trust on left
At next roundabout, take third exit continuing along A4 & you'll see Henwick Worthy Playing fields on the left
At the next traffic lights, turn left into Henwick Lane
Ground is 200m on the left
From M4 J12:
Follow A4 towards Newbury & Thatcham
On entering Thatcham proceed over several sets of traffic lights
After passing speed camera on the left, take a right at next set of lights, onto Henwick Lane
Ground is 200m on the left

Follow A34 towards Newbury
Take slip road onto A339 signposted Newbury & Thatcham
At second roundabout take the first exit
Go straight over double mini-roundabouts
Take next left onto Love Lane
Ground is 400m on the left
